How Does CBD Make You Feel?

WTF, I tried CBD and I didn’t feel anything!?

Has this happened to you? Or are you curious to try CBD but you aren’t sure what to expect? Continue reading to learn what you should expect to feel, and how to get the most out of your CBD.

All CBD Is Not Created Equal

To ensure you get the most out of your CBD experience you have to use a quality product. The CBD industry isn’t regulated which means there are a lot of CBD companies looking for a cash grab instead of prioritizing quality. About 70% of the products in the CBD market are mislabeled, have harmful chemicals, or are void of CBD completely. Buying CBD from a gas station or on Amazon (it’s currently illegal to sell CBD on Amazon) will likely provide poor results. To ensure you have a quality product follow these tips:

  1. Go to the company’s website and look for a certificate of analysis (COA)/third party lab report (at Be Jubie all of our COAs are available for you to view from the product pages)
  2. Check the COAs cannabinoid potency and make sure they tested for harmful chemicals like heavy metals and solvents
  3. If the website does not have a COA then reach out to them directly and request one
  4. If the company cannot provide a COA then I suggest moving on to an ethical provider like Be Jubie!

Using a quality product is key to finding success with CBD, check for those COAs!

Dosing

CBD interacts with everyone’s biology differently. Figuring out which dose works for your body will be trial and error in the beginning and it will require patience and consistency. Some people notice a change immediately while others notice 1-2 weeks after consistent use. If you have never used CBD before then we recommend starting low with the 300mg or 500mg bottle. Start with one dropper full and see how you feel. On average people find relief with 20-30mg/day but it’s not one size fits all. How your endocannabinoid system interacts with CBD will be a unique experience, have patience, and with a quality product you should find relief.

Try to focus on what you are no longer feeling

CBD is more about what you are no longer feeling and sometimes it can be subtle. Pay attention to your body. For example, if you suffer from anxiety attacks then after using CBD you should expect to feel less angst, a steady heartbeat, and calmer. If you have chronic pain then you should feel relief/less pain. We are all so busy sometimes the subtle changes are easy to miss. CBD will not provide the euphoric high you experience with weed (THC). Even if you don’t have chronic pain, anxiety, inflammation, etc CBD can still be used to improve your overall wellness by balancing your endocannabinoid system.

My personal experience with CBD

The first time I used CBD I was expecting to feel something but I didn’t. After 3-5 days of consistent use, I notice my quality of sleep improved and I woke up feeling refreshed. I also remember having an important presentation for work and I was really anxious. I decided to use CBD and it helped calm my nerves and feel more focused. Today, I use CBD every morning to start my day and help me focus. I use it as needed when I have anxiety attacks.

If you tried CBD in the past and you didn’t feel anything consider giving it one more try. Don’t give up on the plant so fast. Make sure the product is high quality, figure out your dosing, and be consistent. With those 3 conditions in place, you have the opportunity to improve your wellness with an all-natural plant and that’s Jubie!
